Apex were instructed to evaluate the remaining works on a 30-apartment high-end retirement living development in Hampstead after the incumbent contractor had gone into administration.

Over a period of 9 months the existing building was subject to a total strip out of all the existing fit out works along with intrusive services, façade and roof surveys.

During this period the client also used this opportunity to redesign aspects of the internal design and services which culminated in Apex agreeing a CM price with the client the following year.

We were awarded the contract to carry out the revised scheme which included a totally new internal fit out and extensive modifications to the building façade and roof.

The development consists of 30 high-end 2 bed retirement apartments, swimming pool, spa, gymnasium, and more leisure break out areas.

The project was completed 18 months later, with the finished building achieving the expected BREEAM Excellent rating required by the planning authority.
