We were awarded this project to increase the lettable floor area of this office by approximately 35% to 40,000 ft2.

Work consisted the demolition of the existing three storey west elevation and the construction of a new extension connected into the existing structure. This required extensive adjustments at roof level to provide a new out of sight plant area.

In addition to the new rear extension, a new two storey glazed entrance and reception lobby area was also created which also required significant structural demolition to facilitate the connection of the new structurally glazed reception to the existing building.

Internally a new rear staircase was formed, the existing internal atrium was fully refreshed and new toilet areas were created on all three floors. The office areas were provided with new raised access floors, new suspended ceilings and new joinery. A new passenger lift was also provided as part of the fit out works.

The external facades were also refreshed with all the existing windows having been resprayed in order to match the newly installed windows and glazed screens to the rear extension.

New hard and soft landscaping was also incorporated into the scheme to suit the revised access and car parking requirements.
