Introducing our newest Management Trainee Apprentice, Tom!
Tom brings with him a deep-rooted passion for the construction industry, having grown up in a family where construction is a way of life. With his dad having worked in construction for 30 years, installing architectural metalwork across London and his brother also in the industry, Tom is driven to carve out his own path within the field.
Balancing work and study, Tom will be attending Greenwich University one day a week while working with Apex the other four days. He has already made a strong start at our Shenstone School, Belvedere project, gaining hands-on experience alongside our site team, Mark, Nathan, and Darran.
Over the next two years, Tom will rotate through various roles, including Pre-Construction, Design Management, and Quantity Surveying. This approach will give him a well-rounded understanding of the construction process and help him determine his preferred career path.
Tom shared his enthusiasm with us, saying, "I came to Apex with a particular interest in becoming a Quantity Surveyor. However, starting my journey on-site, I have thoroughly enjoyed it and am looking forward to exploring all of my options."
