We are delighted to share that we have been appointed to work with London Borough of Bexley, Shenstone School and TKAT on the delivery of the new Shenstone Secondary School. The project, procured via the Fusion21 framework, will see us complete both new build and refurbishment works on the former Woodside College site in Belvedere, delivering long-awaited specialist secondary school facilities.
Three existing buildings formerly used by the college will be retained, refurbished and feature sports, life skills and specialist learning spaces. These will be supplemented by a new two storey teaching block which will feature 8 classrooms, 9 study rooms, staff rooms and facilities. External works including car parking, landscaping and the installation of a MUGA pitch will also be completed.
Work commences on site shortly, starting with demolition and excavation works to level the site.
Working alongside Executive Headteacher Lori Ann Mackey and the Shenstone team, we're excited to be providing a wide range of Social Value measures throughout the contract and we look forward to sharing more about these as we progress.
